That's A Verb.

During wildly exciting times for arms dealers, the Palestinians are getting pummelled by people who they let in a Century ago.

This is called Fair Play in geo-political parlance or how to decimate a country.

You can just build houses wherever you like which I am sure will go down a treat in rural Australia.

Because it just seems fair, right?

Remember, the Chinese cannot build on islands out to sea  but Palestinian land is up for grabs.

BTW who is using ME airspace?

That's right.

Anthony the Hairdresser.

What an Episode to end All Episodes!

So, as you know I have been intrigued by exactly what laws govern the thing called fishermen and research and islands and coastlines in sea lanes and other areas considered sort of interesting at the mo.

Philo lawmakers, can we clarify where those bills are at?

The Philippines, other than a legal case that they won, also want to impose fines and other legal tendrils that might dissuade those operating outside legal tender - and again, Iʼd love to know how you police this, considering masking your GPS via some signal brilliance would DEF be part of the dealing.

What has been the outcome?

A few other things. Libya and Morocco.

So, I donʼt know if you know but apparently Wagner - the super secret outfit that works for whoever pays them the most - well it was in two places that actually had disasters come their way.

There were floods and an earthquake.

And of course, the West was desperate to get in and help ‘em out.

You know.

A bit strategic those two areas.

Ingrid was not floatinʼ around Morocco. Nor Rick.

But this little black duck would no doubt think that there was a tiny insy winsy bit of info to be gleaned from the repercussions of such a move in the current ‘West v Russiaʼ scenario.

I donʼt want to rush it.

I donʼt want you to wet your pants thinkinʼ about it.

Cosgrove might not invite me to lunch.

He might want me to hide the Taipans for some country that needs them.

You know, second hand goods headed to some dirt patch.

‘Have these.ʼ

Oh thanks for that.

MUSIC

As you know, men and women with jockey caps binoculars on their heads that cost a sweet FO fortune are busy doing cammo duty in places that you and I would not want to get caught in without a fan.

Just get your old skull cap. Binoʼs on the head. Bobʼs your uncle.

You are totally legit and probably 2 million cheaper than the dude currently wearing breathable cammo.

Think of it as a wind farm.

A solar panel that the EU cannot WTO.

Thatʼs a verb.

It might be good to look at Chinaʼs counter espionage law.

It would not be fun to be a part of that if you know, someone decided that you were not exactly doing the right thing.

It certainly extensive.

Quite a few journos no longer report from China - choosing Taiwan - question - in reality, how many foreign businesses does it affect?

There are still a few operating, right?

How many foreign businesses still operating in China. Apple.

This comes as Western governments have decided that in fact China has been stealing intellectual property and espionage is a problem.

Five Eyes has decided that they are big deal and Mickey Burgess et al, who would never know about big companies data mining, are totally on it.

Naturally exactly where this espionage is taking place - apparently AI is one cutting edge area - would be the real dealio.

Is it mil tech?

Are we in Copenhagen territory?

If Oppenheimer is on the big screen, are our colliders the main game?

There is also this thing called the Belt and Road that has quite a few people on board but not everyone.

China has been making all sorts of announcements about things it is going to build while America and Australia talk about what they are not going to let China do.

So that is real quaint.

There has also been a very official protest of Chinaʼs manoeuvres near a Canadian plane and the US released breathtaking video of these 150 I think encounters.

We did not see the other side of the story unlike the ME dealio whereby there is a media shitestorm over who has done exactly what.

3000 deaths in Gaza has not gone down a treat or the fact that pollies have lined up to support Israel, suggesting a massive disconnect between leadership

and a few others around the known world. See protests across various capitals.

A bit of interest from the Islamic world who were thinking about offering an olive branch.

Letʼs see where Salman etc end up with that.

Egypt and Lebanon will not accept Gaza refugees meaning that those countries have decided anything that happens to those in Gaza will be Israelʼs problem.

Comprendez?

Thatʼs right.

Welcome to global politics.

MUSIC

HAMAS - who may have been funded by Israel to split Fatah and make sure there wasnʼt one Palestinian voice - and who also has an interest in making sure people donʼt leave the territory -  has marshalled de facto global support for the Palestinian cause simply provoking Israel into stupidly bombing the bejesus out of a country already suffering from settlers wading in any old day taking any old home that belonged to a Palestinian family and violence that we are to believe, must be orchestrated fiction.

We will not discuss the unmentionable in war, whereby secret bunkers are under hospitals and schools directly making civilians targets thus unleashing the very carnage that we do not like to see on our TV screens.

This is not a cynical interpretation. This is how it works.

Welcome to the week where Palestinians got laminated, the Israeliʼs made exiles of people who accepted other exiles under the Balfour declaration, the country that sponsored Balfour - England - sided with Israel, Australia voted NO - because the Aboriginals should be lucky to be alive - and the 4th estate made the biggest comeback since the Iraq war.

That was the silver lining BTW.

On the media question

Note, there is still major problem in the verification of online original sources which is unfortunate because often they are brilliant.

See archival footage of Jews against Zionism, old footage of Biden, footage of global protests, footage regarding the sources of bombing, alleged freezing out of those critical of Israelʼs policy, online OSINT experts disputing official sources and best yet, online speakers corner - that being the Israel defence official - who gives you unedited updates online.

That is official - naturally -  but often he is disputing the very things we are seeing online.

And he is dealing with an incredible backlash that may not be official but it is real.

Whether it changes military objectives is another matter altogether.

During all this, someone released a long video showcasing Turkeyʼs breathtaking munitions acquisitions and the Chinese/Canadian jet ‘near missʼ footage broke.

Jesus. H. Christ.

This is not a read through.
